The Accounts Executive will support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, and compliance with statutory and donor requirements. The role involves working closely with program and administrative teams to ensure smooth financial functioning of all projects. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities · Maintain and update books of accounts using accounting software Tally · Prepare and process vouchers, bills, and reimbursements in accordance with internal financial policies · Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets · Maintain petty cash accounts and support in monthly reconciliations · Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions · Coordinate with external auditors for audits, including statutory, donor, and internal audits · Support in the preparation of Utilisation Certificates (UCs) and financial reports for donors and funders · Assist in tracking grant budgets, expenditures, and fund disbursements across projects · Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, FCRA, and other statutory requirements · Support in payroll processing and staff reimbursements · Liaise with banks, vendors, and statutory bodies when required Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. · Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Busy, or similar) · Good understanding of Indian accounting standards, FCRA, and taxation (TDS, GST) · Strong Excel and data handling skills · Good communication and documentation skills Desired Attributes: · Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities independently · Familiarity with donor reporting (CSR, government grants, international funders) · Commitment to transparency and ethical accounting practices · Strong team player with a solution-oriented approach Remuneration Commensurate with experience and aligned with NGO sector norms.
