Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support decision-making with accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filing.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on accounting laws, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

• Full-time position (onsite/hybrid/remote depending on company policy).
• Standard office hours with occasional extended hours during peak financial periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,80,000.00 - ₹2,40,000.00 CTC
