In this role at Russell Investments Global Finance Department, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that values the impact of financial operations on clients and investors. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Global Accounting team by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, conducting analytic reviews of financial statement accounts, ensuring accurate accounting of transactions in the general ledger and subledger(s), assisting with finance projects, and responding to internal and external audit requests. Your contributions will play a crucial role in keeping financial transactions on track, on time, and in good standing with partners. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support and analysis for business transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. - Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for different accounting functions, conducting self-reviews, investigating discrepancies, and meeting deadlines. - Support the month-end close process by recording journal entries accurately and timely, analyzing account fluctuations, and performing essential accounting tasks. - Participate in accounting projects and assist in organizing and providing necessary documents to auditors.
