Accountant

Job Title: Part-Time Accountant (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to support our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will work from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, providing essential accounting services including financial reporting, transaction processing, reconciliations, and compliance support. This role is suited for a self-motivated professional who values accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
•Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and documentation•Manage daily accounting transactions including accounts payable and receivable•Conduct bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis••Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing processes•Maintain organized and compliant financial files•Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed•Prepare financial summaries, reports, and analysis for management•Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentatio

Identify process improvements and support workflow efficiency

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

•Previous experience as an accountant or in a similar role

•Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

•Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

•Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency

•High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail

•Strong organizational and time-management skills

•Effective communication skills and professional demeanor
