Job Description – Accountant 1. Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of financial statements. 2. Tally Proficiency: Maintain all accounting records in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, ensuring accuracy in data entry, voucher creation, and report generation. 3. Daily Transaction Entry: Record all day-to-day business transactions such as purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner. 4. Monthly Financial Tracking: Prepare and update monthly datasets covering sales, expenses, profit & loss summaries, and other key financial performance indicators. 5. Taxation & Compliance: Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring all financial activities comply with current accounting standards and regulations. 6. Bank & Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and cash books regularly, monitor outstanding receivables/payables, and support financial audits when required. 7. Reporting & Analysis: Generate periodic MIS reports and share financial insights with management to support decision-making and business planning.
