Core responsibilities Financial record-keeping: Documenting, organizing, and maintaining financial transactions and records. Financial reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Compliance and auditing: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting regulations, and preparing for and assisting with audits. Tax management: Calculating and submitting tax returns. Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement. Account reconciliation: Reconciling various financial accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Budgeting: Assisting with budget creation, forecasting, and monitoring expenses.
