Financial and Accounting: Maintain daily accounting transactions and ledgers. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, receipts, and payments. Handle petty cash and prepare expense reports. Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with vendors on billing and payments. Assist in preparing financial reports and tax filings (e.g., GST, TDS). Perform bank reconciliations. Administrative and Office Support: Manage office supplies and inventory. Handle general office duties like answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments. Maintain and organize physical and digital files. Ensure general office operations run efficiently. Assist with internal and external communication. Data Management: Perform data entry accurately into accounting and other systems. Ensure the integrity and security of financial information. Qualifications and skills Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is often preferred. Experience: Proven experience in both accounting and administrative roles is beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks) is often required. Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). Familiarity with basic accounting principles, GST, and TDS. Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
