Accountant - Cash Accounting

Role Overview: You will be responsible for executing monthly accounting close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, account reconciliations, analytics, and reporting related to controllership processes. Additionally, you will prepare accounting entries for various financial activities such as Cash accounting and Cash & Cash equivalents. You will also be in charge of preparing monthly/quarterly financial statement flux variance analysis for management reporting and assisting in SOX documentation and control execution/compliance. Collaboration with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX testing will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will work closely with Regional and International accounting teams to ensure alignment and drive process improvements. You should possess the ability to work independently with process owners to ensure timely completion of tasks and effective communication of any changes. Ad-hoc projects/deliverables may also be assigned to you. Key Responsibilities: - Execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables - Prepare accounting entries for various financial activities - Prepare financial statement flux variance analysis - Assist in SOX documentation and control execution/compliance - Coordinate with auditors for reviews, audits, and testing - Collaborate with accounting teams for process alignment and improvements - Work independently with process owners to ensure timely task completion - Create and maintain process documentation - Handle ad-hoc projects/deliverables Qualifications Required: - 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting - Strong understanding of accounting basics - Experience in IT & ITES industry preferred - Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized - Understanding of ERP systems and willingness to learn new tools - Good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision - Passion for process improvement and automation - Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment - Self-starter with the ability to adapt to change quickly - Degree or equivalent relevant experience required Additional Details: The company values individuals who demonstrate extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies required for the role.,
