Job Description

Job Title: AccountantLocation: [FARIDABAD] Department: Finance & Accounting Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to accuracy. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Process invoices, payments, and payroll. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Assist with internal and external audits. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes. Qualifications:Bachelor’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role (typically 2+ years). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required). Soft Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Integrity and confidentiality.
