Accountant- Australian Taxation

Role Overview: You will be joining a progressive accounting firm in Mohali as a Tax Accountant to support client managers and partners in delivering top-notch accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base in Australia. Your role will require hands-on involvement, where your initiative, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility will play a crucial part. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing Activity Statements and Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts following Australian Taxation regulations. - Provide monthly/quarterly bookkeeping support utilizing Xero software. - Attend training sessions internally and externally to stay abreast of tax and accounting updates. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. - Support with miscellaneous administrative tasks as required. Qualification Required: - Possess a relevant accounting degree and CA/CPA accreditation or be actively pursuing or planning to pursue it. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian practice accounting. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Xero, and MYOB accounting software. - While experience with Class/BGL is not mandatory, it will be advantageous. - Exhibit strong communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor in interactions. - Demonstrate excellent time management abilities, including prioritization and meeting deadlines. - Show enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit within a team setting.
