Account Supervisor

As a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper at Unison Globus, your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient financial management for our clients. You will be responsible for reviewing bookkeeping, accounting, and trial balances prepared by the staff. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing expenses, deferred revenue, and reconciling inter-company transactions - Reviewing accounts receivable reports and reconciliations - Analyzing period-end accounts to identify major variances and discuss with clients - Reviewing 1099s at year-end - Reviewing and filing sales tax returns as required - Preparing financial statements for clients with detailed notes - Leading and managing a team of Staff Accountants and Seniors to ensure strict adherence to client deliverables To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Commerce graduate/postgraduate/Inter CA/CA with 5+ years of experience in US Accounting - Ability to train Staff and Seniors on various accounting principles - Strong analytical skills to review books and financial statements and identify variances - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven client relationship management skills - Highly motivated and proactive - Advanced knowledge of various US accounting software and Microsoft Office applications - Willingness to work cooperatively in teams At Unison Globus, we offer a competitive base salary, medical insurance, gratuity, learning and development opportunities, and a dynamic, growing, and professional work culture.
