Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions Management
Handle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries related to transport operations (fuel, vehicle maintenance, freight charges).
Budgeting & Forecasting
Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for transport projects and services.
Client Invoicing
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for freight and logistics services.
Cash Flow & Reconciliation
Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and manage payment schedules with vendors and suppliers.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, transport industry standards, and financial reporting requirements.
Cost Analysis
Analyze cost structures (driver wages, fuel, fleet maintenance) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with logistics and operations teams to align financial strategies with business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the
transport or logistics industry
.
Strong understanding of transport-related financial workflows.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
