Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Manage and review financial transactions, invoices, bills, and payments for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual closing.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow; provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.
• Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, vendors, and financial institutions.
• Implement and streamline accounting processes, systems, and controls.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com / M.Com / MBA / CA Inter).
• Completed Articleship under a Chartered Accountant or firm is highly preferred.
• 46 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar managerial role.
• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / other ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Financial Modeling).
• Experience in managing audits and financial reporting.
• Exposure to the interior design, architecture, or construction industry (preferred but not mandatory).
