About the Role

Agriplast North is a leading organization in the field of hi-tech agriculture and protected cultivation, offering world-class greenhouse, polyhouse, and irrigation solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Head

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep accounting expertise, and the ability to streamline processes in a fast-growing, multi-location agri-tech business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of books and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support management decisions.
• Monitor and control expenditures against budgets, ensuring optimal cost utilization.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective measures.

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle all aspects of 

  GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.

• Ensure compliance with RBI, ROC, and other statutory authorities.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable tax laws and accounting standards.

Banking & Treasury

• Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and fund management.
• Oversee vendor payments, LC documentation, and credit control processes.
• Support in financing arrangements, working capital management, and fund allocation.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of 

  Tally ERP

  or similar accounting platforms.
• Proven knowledge of 

  GST, TDS, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.

• Excellent command over MS Excel, financial modelling, and reconciliation techniques.

• Leadership qualities with a collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally.

• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ethical standards.

Preferred Background

• Experience in 

  manufacturing, agri-tech, or project-based industries

   will be preferred.
• Exposure to 

  inventory accounting, cost centres, and project costing.

• Prior experience in audit coordination and team management.
