The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the overall finance operations of Saru Smelting. The role requires coordination with the production, purchase, sales, and admin teams to ensure smooth financial functioning.
* Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
* Record purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries accurately.
* Prepare and verify sales invoices based on dispatch documents.
* Match and verify purchase bills with PO, GRN, and supporting documents.
* Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and ensure timely reconciliation.
* Handle petty cash and update the daily cashbook.
* Process vendor payments (NEFT/RTGS) and maintain payment records.
* Coordinate with banks for statements, deposits, and related queries.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
* Support GST working: prepare input/output reports and monthly return data.
* Assist in statutory audit and internal audit by preparing required documents.
* Coordinate with purchase, production, store, and sales teams for document accuracy.
* Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, and records.
* Prepare basic MIS reports for management review.
* Support month-end closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial data.
