Finance & Accounts Assistant – Job Description (1–2 Year Experience)

1. Role Overview
Support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely updates in ERP.Assist in reconciliations, invoicing, collections, payments, and reporting.

2. Key Responsibilities
Enter bills, invoices, vouchers, and receipts or data entries into ERP.Maintain accurate ledgers and support journal entries.Verify vendor bills and assist in payment processing.Maintain AP trackers and ageing reports.Follow up with vendors for invoices, statements, and clarifications.Communicate payment dates and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and send customer invoices through ERP.Update receipt entries and reconcile customer accounts.Follow up with clients for pending payments and confirmations.Maintain updated AR ageing and collection status.Record daily bank transactions and assist in bank reconciliation.Maintain petty cash, expense reimbursements, and cash logs.Maintain digital and physical finance documents.Support GST, TDS, and audit documentation (beginner level).Prepare MIS support sheets, AP/AR dashboards, and trackers.Assist in month-end closing activities.

3. Required Skills
Basic accounting principles; GST/TDS understanding (beginner ok).Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot preferred).ERP data entry and financial workflow understanding.Good communication and follow-up skills.

4. Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or similar.1–2 year experience or internship in finance/accounts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹431,284.10 - ₹1,542,652.06 per year
