🧾 Job Title: Accounts Assistant πŸ“ Department: Accounts & Finance πŸ“ˆ Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Business Owner πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities 1. Day-to-Day Accounting Voucher Entry: Record purchase, sales, payment, and receipt vouchers accurately in the accounting software. Invoice Management: Handle incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring proper documentation and timely recording. Petty Cash Management: Monitor, record, and reconcile petty cash transactions regularly. 2. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation Bank Reconciliation: Match company bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy. Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain ledgers for customers, suppliers, and expenses. Follow-ups: Assist in follow-ups for payment collections and outstanding dues. 3. Taxation & Compliance Support GST Support: Assist in preparing GST reports and ensuring timely filing in coordination with the accountant. TDS Handling: Track applicable TDS deductions and maintain related records. Document Filing: Organize and file all tax-related and statutory documents for easy access and compliance. 4. MIS & Financial Reporting Data Compilation: Gather financial data for preparing daily, weekly, or monthly MIS reports. Report Assistance: Support the team in generating reports for profit & loss, expenses, and account summaries. Audit Preparation: Help in preparing documentation for audits and financial reviews. πŸ›  Key Skills Required βœ… Knowledge of basic accounting principles βœ… Proficiency in Tally / MS Excel / Accounting Software βœ… Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry βœ… Familiarity with GST, TDS, and general compliance βœ… Good organizational and communication skills
