Accessibility testing

As an Accessibility Tester, your role is crucial in ensuring that our digital products are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. You will be responsible for evaluating websites, applications, and other digital content to guarantee compliance with accessibility standards like WCAG and ADA. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing accessibility testing using both tools and manual methods. - Identifying and documenting accessibility issues, as well as providing suggestions for fixes. - Ensuring that our digital products meet the standards set by WCAG, ADA, and other relevant guidelines. - Collaborating closely with development teams to implement accessible solutions effectively. - Reporting on testing results and tracking progress to ensure continuous improvements. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Knowledge of WCAG and ADA standards. - Experience in using accessibility testing tools such as Axe, JAWS, and NVDA. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Familiarity with web development practices and usability testing. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - Experience with assistive technologies like screen readers. - Certification in accessibility, such as CPACC or WAS.
