Responsibilities: Strategic Vision and Planning: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the institution in alignment with our mission and goals. Provide leadership in academic planning, curriculum development, and program enhancement. Curriculum Oversight: Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality academic programs in hotel management. Collaborate with faculty to ensure relevant and up-to-date course content. Monitor student performance and address any academic challenges. Faculty and Staff Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Encourage professional development among staff. Student Engagement and Success: Promote student engagement through extracurricular activities, workshops, and industry interactions. Monitor student progress, address concerns, and support their overall well-being. Facilitate placements and internships for students. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality assurance processes for teaching, assessment, and student support. Industry Relations: Build strong relationships with industry partners, including hotels, restaurants, and travel companies. Collaborate on internships, guest lectures, and industry visits. Research and Innovation: Encourage faculty and students to engage in research and innovation. Promote scholarly activities within the institution. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Hotel Management or related field. Minimum 10+ years of experience in academic administration, student retention, and placements.
