Position Overview: As an *Academic Counselor*, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students in making informed educational choices. You will be responsible for engaging with students, understanding their aspirations, and assisting them in selecting the most suitable programs offered by our partnered institutions. Your ability to communicate effectively, empathize with students, and provide valuable insights will contribute to our mission of helping students achieve their academic and career goals. Key Responsibilities: - Student Counseling: Connect with prospective students through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to understand their academic and career aspirations. - Program Guidance: Provide detailed information about available courses, admission requirements, and career prospects. - Follow-up: Maintain consistent follow-ups to address queries and guide students through the enrollment process. - Relationship Building: Develop trust-based relationships with students and their families, fostering confidence in the educational options presented. - Data Management: Accurately record counseling interactions, feedback, and student information in the CRM system. - Collaboration: Work alongside the Business Development team to maximize student enrollment and conversion rates. - Target Achievement: Meet counseling session targets, successful enrollments, and lead conversion goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students. - Knowledge of counseling techniques and career guidance is preferred. - Basic familiarity with MS Office applications and CRM tools (training will be provided). - Enthusiastic, empathetic, and genuinely interested in helping students achieve their goals. - Prior experience in academic counseling, sales, or customer service is a plus.
