Job Title: Academic Counsellor - CFA Program Location: Mumbai Industry: Education | CFA| Financial Certification | EdTech Compensation: 7 - 10 LPA About the Role: Boston Institute of Analytics is seeking an experienced and persuasive Academic Counsellor to drive admissions for its flagship CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) training program. Youll be the first point of contact for incoming leads, responsible for counseling students via phone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings , while converting inquiries into confirmed enrollments through a structured sales process. Key Responsibilities: Lead Calling & Qualification Make outbound calls to leads generated through digital marketing, partnerships, and walk-ins. Understand the student’s background, goals, and eligibility for the CFA course. Qualify and prioritize leads based on interest, urgency, and readiness to enroll. Follow-ups & CRM Management Maintain a robust follow-up schedule via calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and email . Use CRM tools to track lead stages, next actions, and conversion progress. Maintain daily records of interactions, lead updates, and closures. Video Counseling & Campus Walk-ins Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions (Zoom/Google Meet) to explain the course roadmap, fees, batch schedules, and career outcomes. Handle in-person walk-in inquiries at the campus and provide full counseling support. Tailor sessions to address common student objections (fees, timing, relevance) and guide them to a confident decision. End-to-End Sales Closure Drive prospects through the full B2C sales funnel - from inquiry to counseling to enrollment and payment. Collaborate with internal teams to process admissions, collect documents, and confirm course onboarding. Meet and exceed monthly admission and revenue targets . Career & Academic Guidance Educate students about the CFA curriculum, level-wise exams, and how it maps to roles in investment banking, equity research, portfolio management, and financial consulting. Provide realistic expectations on timelines, job outcomes, and future upskilling needs. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, inside sales, or education B2C sales preferably CFA test prep courses (CFA/finance/edtech background preferred). Skills & Traits: Strong English and communication skills Target-driven, persuasive, and relationship-focused. Excellent objection handling, follow-up discipline, and closing skills . Comfort with CRM and lead management systems. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. Additional certifications in sales or finance education are a plus.
