Job Title: IT Cabling & Dressing, Networking, Surveillance, Fire & Intrusion Systems – Field Technician --- Job Summary: We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Field Technicians for structured cabling, networking, CCTV surveillance, fire detection, intrusion alarm, and other ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems. Candidates with prior experience are preferred; however, freshers with a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply. The role involves hands-on work at client sites, focusing on neat, professional installations that meet industry standards. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Cabling & Dressing Pull, lay, label, and secure cables (Cat6/Cat6A, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, etc.). Perform cable dressing in racks, panels, and conduits for a clean, professional finish. Install cable trays, conduits, trunking, and other pathways. 2. Networking Mount and connect switches, routers, wireless access points, and network cabinets. Assemble racks and manage cables neatly. Perform basic connectivity tests and troubleshooting. 3. Surveillance (CCTV) Mount and align IP and analog cameras. Run and terminate camera cables (PoE or coax with power). Assist in DVR/NVR installation and configuration. 4. Fire & Intrusion Systems Install detectors, call points, sounders, panels, and related devices. Run and terminate fire alarm and intrusion system cabling. Follow safety standards and local regulations. 5. General Site Work Safely use hand tools and power tools. Follow PPE and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. --- Qualifications & Skills: Experience in structured cabling, networking, or ELV systems preferred. Freshers can also apply – training will be provided. Ability to read basic drawings and follow technical instructions. Physically fit for cable pulls, ladder work, and equipment lifting. --- Mandatory Requirements: 1-month notice period when leaving the organisation.
