What You’ll Do:
The Business Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes, requirements, and system functionalities. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that project goals and objectives align with organizational strategy and stakeholder expectations. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, finance, and operations teams to support the design, development, and implementation of scalable business solutions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, user stories, and other elicitation techniques.
  • Analyze current business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement or automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Create and maintain process maps, data flow diagrams, and business models to visualize workflows and dependencies.
  • Support solution design, system testing, and implementation to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct impact analyses, support change management initiatives, and assist in the creation of success metrics to evaluate solution effectiveness.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure continuous alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Set Yourself Apart With:
  • Experience supporting healthcare, financial, or government systems projects.
  • Exposure to data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Knowledge of process automation or workflow optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with API documentation and integration requirements.
  • Experience working within federal or regulated environments (HIPAA, CMS, or similar compliance standards).
  • Experience as a scrum master
  • Experience testing
